Former Edo State Information Commissioner, Kassim Afegbua, alleges a shift in the stance of Atiku Abubakar and Mr. Peter Obi regarding the 2023 general election. Instead of claiming victory, they are now focusing on contesting Bola Tinubu’s eligibility to participate.
Afegbua argues that the opposition is actively promoting their version of events surrounding the Chicago State University saga while discrediting the ruling party’s narrative.
He conveyed in a TVC interview, “Whether you refer to them as Atiku Abubakar or Gregory Obi, it’s regrettable that they have yet to acknowledge their loss on February 25th, 2023.
“It’s evident that they have shifted their focus from ‘I won the election’ to scrutinizing Tinubu’s qualification to run. They aim to persuade people to accept their narrative while discrediting the other side’s.”
