According to a report by Newsmax on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, Bill Ballenger, a seasoned political commentator and editor of the Michigan political newsletter, The Ballenger Report, has claimed that Mike Pence bowed out of the 2024 presidential race because he could not raise money.
“He couldn’t raise the money he thought would be there for him, and he never secured the ‘evangelical’ lane he thought would be his.
“His campaign was dead from the start. He’s a man without a political country”, Ballenger said.
Recall that former Vice President Mike Pence exited the 2024 presidential race on Saturday, October 28, 2023.
Ballenger pointed out that fundraising is a critical element of any successful political campaign, and Pence’s struggle in this regard made his campaign an uphill battle from the start.
Pence, a well-known figure in Republican politics, served as Vice President under the Trump administration from 2017 to 2021.
Many had expected him to be a strong contender for the Republican nomination in the 2024 presidential race.
