Speaking during the pre-match press conference, the coach, Erik ten Hag, said United will fight back, and that he doesn’t walk away.
“We’ll fight back, I don’t walk away. We have to win every game. That’s Man United standards, we know that and I don’t walk away from that.
“The players are positive. They want to put this right and we’ve to match the standards every day. We will fight back. I’m convinced about players in the dressing room, we have a good squad — I’m sure.
“We saw these players last year, they can do a lot better — but that’s up to me to let them play better. I have to take the responsibility… I will put every effort into getting this done.
“The dressing room is strong, the staff are strong, this manager is strong”, ten Hag said.
