See The Nigerian Players That Have Arrived The Super Eagles Camp For 2026 World Cup Qualifiers

According to a report by the Nigeria Super Eagles via Facebook on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, some Nigerian players have already touched down the Super Eagles Camp for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

According to the report, Kenneth Omeruo, Kelechi Iheanacho, Francis Uzoho, Sodiq Umar, Ojo, Jamiu Collins, Nathan Tella, Ola Aina, Chigozie Awaziem, Bright, Bruno, Ajayi, Onyedika, Bassey, Aribo, Onyeka, Iwobi, Simon, Awoniyi, Lookman, Boniface and Moffi have arrived the Camp.

Super Eagles of Nigeria

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will start their 2026 World Cup qualifiers with a game at home against Lesotho, before they will play an away game against Zimbabwe on 16th and 19th November respectively.

The Super Eagles, particularly the strikers are coming into the fixtures with confidence, with new boy Nathan Tella scoring his first Bundesliga goal for Leverkusen in their 4-0 win over Union Berlin.

Furthermore, Nottingham Forest’s Taiwo Awoniyi, who has just regained full fitness, was on target in Forest’s 3-2 loss against West ham in the English Premier League.

Other countries in Nigeria’s group in the World Cup qualifiers are South Africa, Benin and Rwanda.
