National Association Of Ogba Students To Hold Advocacy Programme Against Drug Abuse In Schools

The National Association of Ogba Students Worldwide (NAOS), in partnership with GNTV News, is set to hold an advocacy programme against drug abuse in secondary schools and tertiary institutions in Rivers State.

The programme is scheduled to hold as follows:

Day 1: Advocacy/sensitization at Community Secondary School Obigwe on November 16, 2023, by 12pm.

Day 2: Advocacy/sensitization against drug abuse at Government Secondary School Akabuka on November 17, 2023, by 11: 30am.

Day 3: Advocacy/sensitization at Modern Boys Secondary School Omoku on November 22, 2023, by 12 pm.

The grand finale is scheduled to hold on November 24, 2023, at Obite Civic Center Complex.

The national president of NAOS Worldwide, Comr. Believe Nwoko, a native of Akabuka Town, confirmed to GNTV News Saturday, November 11, 2023, that the programme is aimed at curbing the menace of drug abuse among students.

Furthermore, he urged all and sundry to attend and support the advocacy programme as all hands must be on deck in the course of fighting drug abuse in secondary schools and tertiary institutions in Rivers State.
