Nigerians Must Endure Current Hardship To Have Good Future – Tinubu

The president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has urged Nigerians to endure hardship.

This was contained in a post shared by his son, Seyi Tinubu, on Instagram Monday February 19, 2024.

“There is no joy in seeing the people of this nation shoulder burdens that should have been shed years ago.

“I wish today’s difficulties did not exist. But we must endure if we are to reach the good side of our future,” Seyi quoted Tinubu as saying.

This comes amid a peaceful demonstration in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, against the economic inflation and hardship in the country.

GNtv News learnt that the protesters blocked major roads while protesting against Tinubu’s economic policies they claimed made them poorer.

The protest reportedly began in Mokola area, and the young protesters barricaded the Mokola under-bridge and the Queen Elizabeth Road, causing traffic congestion in some parts of Ibadan.

Some of the placards had inscriptions such as ‘Open Boarder, End Hardship’, ‘End food hike and inflation’, ‘The poor is starving’, ‘Tinubu, don’t forget your promises’, amongst others.
