Peter Obi, Sowore & Simon Ekpa Incited the Protests But They Didn’t Come Out- Reno Omokri

Former aide to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Mr Reno Omokri, has said that Peter Obi, Omoyele Sowore and Simon Ekpa incited the protest rocking the country but didn’t come out to control them.

He made the statement while reacting to the loss of lives, vandalization of hospitals and looting of businesses resulting from the protests.

He said Peter Obi is being protected by his security team in his home, Simon Ekpa is in Finland while Sowore is currently in America.

Reno Omokri made this statement via a post on his verified Facebook page on Friday, August 2, 2024.

He added that their incitement caused sorrow, pain, blood and tears in the country, and that nobody’s political ambition is worth the blood of any Nigerian.

“Seventeen people died. Businesses looted. Hospitals and pharmacies were destroyed. Government offices were burnt. Markets shut down. Public utilities were vandalised. All in one day.

“The saddest thing is that those directly responsible for inciting the looting and mayhem that occurred yesterday did not come out to control or manage those they incited.

“Sowore is in America. Peter Obi, the warmonger, is in the safety of his well-guarded house. Simon Ekpa is enjoying peace and tranquillity in Finland.

“But because of their incitement, there was sorrow, tears, and blood in the country. Nobody’s political and economic agenda should be worth the blood of even a single Nigerian.

“The world is watching. Foreign direct investors planning to come to Nigeria will be frightened away, worsening the hardship faced by the masses.

“But those who invited and invited these protests will not be affected. It will be you and your family that will feel the heat!”, Reno Omokri wrote on his verified Facebook page.
