In a developing story emanating from the Egi clan of Ogbaland, His Eminence, Eze Victor Egbo (Eze Egi III) has issued a 3-day ultimatum to Total Energies, ordering the firm to release what ‘rightfully belongs’ to the Egi Kingdom.
The Royal monarch disclosed this during an open discussion with all Egi youths today at his residence in Erema community.

According to the Kind, the Egi clan received a N9b fund for 2012 erosion. After his Town Hall meeting with the zones of Egi, the people concluded and agreed to share the said fund.
Eze Victor Egbo today, pleaded with the youths of Egi to exercise little patience with Total Energies as “they are trying to be stubborn in releasing what belongs to the Egi people”.
“The vision of my reign as Eze Egi is to put smile on the faces of my people. And I also want to thank all those who stood with us in this trail time. Let’s be hopeful as in due time, we will get positive results.

“But I want to reassure you of my commitment that our 9Bn of the 2012 erosion money will be shared. We are expecting to have a meeting with Total Energies and the money will be released to us, and we will share as promised. Total Energies is becoming another problem but we will humble them”, the King said.
He further declared that Total Energies is given from today till Tuesday to report for a peaceful resolution. “But if fail, it will result to consequences which Egï people will decide the wrath. Our women will go on strike if the need arises”, Eze Egi III concluded.
