While the potential transfer of Victor Osimhen to Chelsea continues to gather momentum, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church in Nigeria, Primate Ayodele, has dropped a bombshell.
Primate Ayodele warned that Victor Osimhen will not shine and that he will kill his football career if he joins Chelsea.
Additionally, the cleric told the NFF not to call him up to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria if he moves to Chelsea.
His warning came via a video posted on his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
“I want to quickly advise directly that Osimhen should not go to Chelsea because if he goes there, he will not shine and it will kill his career.
“NFF, if Osimhen should go to Chelsea, don’t call him again, and also calling him to the Super Eagles still needs to be previewed properly because we have what it takes to the World Cup and Nations Cup”, he said.

Osimhen’s move away from Napoli is long overdue as fans had expected it to happen after he helped them win the Serie A title in 2023.
However, he signed a new contract with a release clause of €113 million and an agreement to let him leave in 2024.
But his quest to leave Napoli has become difficult because his performance dropped in the 2024 season and Chelsea is the only club in the race to sign him at the moment.
