The executive governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara (GSSRS), has affirmed that he and his supporters will not defect from the PDP.
This comes amid Fubara’s defection rumours that have been flying in the media.
The governor gave the assurance during a meeting with the PDP Board of Trustees (BOT) at the Government House in Port Harcourt.
Siminalayi Fubara said the visit of the BOT has laid the falsehood peddled by some people over his membership of the party to rest.
GNtv correspondent reports that the meeting was attended by key party figures like Chief Bode George, Ahmed Makarfi, Prince Uche Secondus, Sir Celestine Omehia, etc.
