Wike Reveals the Party Fubara and His Supporters Will Decamp to

The Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, has revealed the party his successor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, will decamp to.

Speaking during the Rivers State PDP Congress in Port Harcourt on Saturday, August 31, 2023, Nyesom Wike said Fubara and his supporters will soon defect to the Action Peoples Party (APP)

We are aware of these unstable characters and their supporters in Rivers State, we know that they are joining APP.

“Let them wait, when it’s time they should face us in the election. Don’t bother about abuses, we have thick skin, we don’t even know what abuse is.

“So, don’t say anybody is abusing me. If I’m nothing, they will not abuse me. They thought we will beg; are we begging? No!”, he said.

Fast forward the video to 4 minutes, 30 seconds.

This comes amid Fubara’s defection rumor that has been circulating in the media some weeks ago.

However, GNtv recalls that Governor Fubara had reiterated that he will not defect from the PDP, when he had a meeting with the party’s Board of Trustees (BOT) in the Rivers State Government House.

As of now, Governor Fubara is yet to respond to Nyesom Wike’s statement. It remains to be seen how he would react, and how things unfold in Rivers State in the coming days.
