GOAL ANALYSIS (ALAN SHEARER)

Erling Haaland opened scoring for the visitors after VAR awarded a penalty to Manchester City on the 25th minute

28 minutes into the game, Chelsea veteran defender Thiago Silva converted Chelsea’s corner kick to make it 1-1.

Former City star Sterling made it 2-1 on the 37th minute. But it was not long for Akanji to make it 2-2 at halftime.

On the 46th minute, Erling Haaland made it 2-3 and on the 67th minute, in-form Nicolas Jackson made it 3-3.

Furthermore, Rodri scored for Manchester City on the 86th minute. Just when City felt the game was over, Cole Palmer converted a penalty, making it 4-4. What a crazy game per Alan Shearer.

CHELSEA’S BEST PLAYER

Alan Shearer: “Very impressive Chelsea performance, Reece James was superb, Conor Gallagher, Raheem Sterling was incredible but 21-year-old Palmer was absolutely sensational.

“One of the impressive things about him is he always tries to pass forward into forwards. His first thought is can he do that, can he run forward.

“There was nothing short of it being magnificent when he had the ball. Offering himself when under pressure and then driving forward and setting Chelsea into really good positions.
