The Honourable Commissioner for Health Rivers State, Dr. Adaeze Chidinma Oreh has received new award as the ‘Commissioner Of The Year 2024’ by One Rivers Coalition (ORC).
The social political group said she was awarded because of her competence and dedication to duty. Richard Obulor Masi, Rivers West Co-Ordinator, ORC, hoped that her performance in office would be emulated by others in the Governor Sim Fubara’s administration to quickly build the dream Rivers State.
Mr. Aribibia Ngerebara, ORC Secretary: “Worry no more for our Doctors will no longer be running away to USA, etc. The issue of brain drain has come to an end in Rivers State. Since Fubara came in and appointed Dr. Adaeze as Commissioner for Health, you could see the numerous achievements in Rivers. Today, we have an approval of 300 million Naira to train our Doctors, Nurses and other medical practitioners. Latest equipment have been shipped to the Health Sector. Is that not good governance?”
Dr. Chima Nwajari, Eze Ohali 3rd of Ogbaland: “If you look closely, the Ministry of Health has been rebranded. There is no day on TV that you won’t see latest development from the Ministry of Health”.
She thanked the group and also reaffirm her dedication to work for the betterment of Rivers State.
