The much anticipated 2026 World Cup qualifying match between Zimbabwe and Super Eagles of Nigeria has ended 1-1.
The match was keenly contested, as Zimbabwe’s Walter Musona put his team ahead in the 26th minute.
However, Zimbabwe’s hope of carting away the three points was dashed when Kelechi Iheanacho got an equalizer for the Super Eagles in the 67th minute.
This has left Nigeria with 2 points from two games in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Recall that they also played 1-1 with Lesotho.
