A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Kogi State has revealed how the party voted against Dino Melaye, in the 2023 Kogi State elections.
The chieftain made the revelation in a video shared on African Independent Television (AIT) on Sunday, November 12, 2023.
“I wish to bring to public notice that even before the contest in Kogi State would start, the Peoples Democratic Party is undermining their fortunes in our state.
“It’s our party that has defeated our party in our state, not even the APC. In the first place, they manipulated the delegates list to favour Dino Melaye.
“Dino Melaye was the mascot of the presidential campaign. So, if someone was a clown, made you laugh and insulted people for you, is that enough to award the governorship ticket of our state to him?
“It’s very unfortunate. Now, Yahaya Bello will be chasing us with thugs for another four years. I call on the party leader, Atiku Abubakar, to do the needful next time”, he said.
