NNPC Reveals New Prices of Fuel

The Nigeria National Petroleum Company, NNPC, has revealed that they will sell the fuel gotten from the Dangote refinery at N960 per litre in Rivers State and other southern states of the country.

Nigeria Info 92.3 PH reports that the price will likely be above N1000 per litre in the far northern states.

The new fuel price could be N1019 in states like Borno and N999.22 in the FCT, Sokoto and Kano states. The lowest price will be seen in Lagos, as it would be sold at N950 per litre.

The new prices of fuel was contained in an official statement released by the spokesperson of the NNPC, Mr Olufemi Soneye on Monday, September 16, 2024.

GNtv News recalls that Dangote Group disagreed with NNPC’s initial statement that it sold petrol at N898 per litre on Sunday. The NNPC had signed an upward review of the fuel price on September 3, 2024.
