Rivers State Governor, Sir Sim Fubara, has said he would not be distracted from governance despite the crisis rocking the state.
He said this at the inauguration of the renovated Dental, Maxillofacial Ear Nose Throat, and Ophthalmology Hospital in Port Harcourt on November 22, 2023.
This comes after the rift between him and Nyesom Wike took another turn.
The State House of Assembly members reportedly loyal to Nyesom Wike held a sitting at the Assembly complex on Sunday.
Sim Fubara assured the people of Rivers State that his calm nature will not deter him from working in the interest of the state.
Furthermore, he said his plans for Rivers people align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu.
Tinubu’s agenda is anchored on restoring and improving the economy.
It is also anchored on the social wellbeing of the citizenry.
