Stop parading yourself as Omoku Youth President -Oba of Ogbaland warns Sunday Owure

In a statement released today (31/07/2024) by the Royal Media Report, the Oba of Ogbaland has issued a stern warning to Sunday Owure, directing him to stop falsely claiming to be the President of the Omoku Youth Federation.

This follows the Rivers State Ministry of Youth Development’s suspension of Comr. Chinedu Onyije, the rightful President, on July 5, 2024. The suspension was lifted on July 9, 2024, after interventions by key stakeholders, including the Oba of Ogbaland, His Eminence Barr. (Dr.) Nwachuku Nnam Obuohna-Obi III, the Deputy Governor Prof. Nma Ordu, Commissioner for Urban Development Hon. Isaac Umejuru, and Hon. Ohia Prince, SA to the Governor.

The Oba, addressing the youth of Omoku, reaffirmed Comr. Chinedu Onyije as the legitimate President of the Federation. Despite this official clarification, it was reported that Sunday Owure has continued to present himself as the President.
