The governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed, said Bauchi has enough water to quench the fire that FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike said he would put in the PDP states whose governors are supporting Rivers State governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara in the lingering political crisis.
Bala Mohammed made the statement as he recently hosted some members of the PDP National Working Committee.
GNtv News had reported that Nyesom Wike warned PDP governors against interfering in the crisis with Fubara, and plotting to take the Rivers PDP structure from him.
As reported by The Cable, Bala Mohammed said: We are together; nobody can put fire in Bauchi.
“We have volumes of water that will quench the fire – even my friend (Wike) that said so, it is because he is annoyed. But it is not personal”.
He added that other parties are also enmeshed in political crisis like the PDP, and that the party will consult its constitution to resolve the issues, putting personal interests aside.
