He made the statement while addressing a delegation of PDP governors at his office in Abuja on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

The delegation whose aim was to intervene in the crisis between the Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, was ably lead by Bala Mohamed.

Responding to the accusations against him in relation to the crisis, Wike said: “Even if they say I want 25 percent of Rivers State allocation, I don’t care, they are just rumours.

“I’m not a political ingrate, but don’t touch the political structure of Rivers State. I won’t shut my eyes.

“The president is our father, he has spoken, let’s see where that takes us. My conscience is clear, nobody can rubbish me.

“I’m not one of those persons you can go and tarnish their image on social media and go free. Be careful, I have what it takes to fight back”,
